
The Latin American Championship of Online Poker is a brand-new PokerStars online tournament series. It’s your chance to prove that you are the best poker player in Latin America. The tournament runs December 5-12, 2010, with 11 events and a guaranteed prize pool of $160,000.
You can qualify and take part in the tournament if you live in any of the following countries:

The Regional Championships of Online Poker, otherwise known as RCOOP or Regional COOP is a PokerStars online tournament series. Compete against people in your own region and your own language to win big cash prizes and prove you are the best poker player in your region.
The Latin American COOPs will be played in English, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese.
The Latin American Championship of Online Poker has events for all types of poker players, including Texas Hold'em, Five Card Draw and Omaha. Qualify online with PokerStars satellites running now.

The Latin American Championship of Online Poker is the biggest thing to hit poker in your area for years. The Latin American Europe COOP is part of the regional Championship of Online Poker, and you can keep tabs on what’s going on in the other events around the world by checking out PokerStars.eu. With 13 different tournament series spanning the globe, the regional COOPs let you compete against other players just like you for championship titles and big prize money.

Everyone can take part, because there are a wide range of buy-in options and games for every region. Each of the 13 regions has their own tailor-made tournament schedule and qualification structure. The different Regional COOPS include:
Each Regional Online Poker Championship tournament has its own main event. Buy-ins range from $11 to $530, but you can qualify for a lot less by playing in satellite qualification games that are running now. If you manage to qualify for a Regional COOP event you’ll then be able to play in a Championship tournament against other players from your area and possibly even play against a member of Team PokerStars Pro, including Angel Guillen, Alex Gomes and Nacho Barbero.
